The Favor Of God

Have you ever experienced the Favor of God?

I have and I have learned to expect it in my every day life. Many people think it is walking through life without challenges, closed doors, or difficult seasons. But biblical favor is not about the absence of hardship – it is the presence of God guiding, strengthening and opening the right doors according to his purpose.

The Favor of God is his unmerited blessing, kindness, help and his goodness working in our lives because of how much he loves us and his grace.

What is the Favor of God?

The word ” favor” in the word of God, often refers to God’s grace, acceptance, delight and blessing. It is not something we can earn through our own perfections and accomplishments. Favor flows from a loving Father who desires to lead his children.

Psalm 5:12 says ” Surely Lord you bless the righteous; you surround them with your Favor as with a shield.”

Gods favor surrounds his people like a shield or umbrella. It protects, guides, and reminds us, that we are never walking through life alone.

Favor comes through relationship, not performance

One of the greatest misunderstandings of Gods favor is that we have to work harder to deserve it. The truth is that we cannot earn what God freely gives. When God grants you his favor. Nothing can stop the blessing he has in store.

God is saying to you today,

There’s favor on your life that cannot be explained. You are stepping into rooms you didn’t qualify for. You are being elevated in ways you didn’t expect. My favor will cause your name to be brought up in the right conversations. Keep your heart humble and your spirit expectant. I am shifting things in your favor right now. What was hard is about to become easy. What was blocked is about to break open. Walk in bold confidence because you are fully covered by my blessing and divine grace.

Favor is not God liking you more. It is God trusting you with weight others cannot carry. Stop shrinking so people feel comfortable around a calling they were never assigned.

Confess that I am surrounded by the Favor of God daily and soon you will start to see it in your every day life! The moment you declare it, things start happening and shifting in your favor for his glory.
