Habukkuk 2:2 says “ Write the Vision and make it plain on tablets, so he who may run reads it. For the vision awaits its appointed time. It hastens to the end – it will not lie. If it seems slow – wait for it, it will surely come it will not delay.”
You have to write down what you’re believing for – that’s the first step to achieving your dreams that God has placed on your heart. You have to see it through the eyes of faith before you see it come to pass in your life. Then, ask God for his favor. Speak and declare that you have the Favor of God, and believe that you will begin to see His favor at work in your life. As Joel Osteen says “ Get Ready the Creator of the Universe is about to endorse you.”
Second invest in some duct tape! If you can’t speak faith, then sometimes it’s better if you don’t speak at all. The words you speak have power, and constantly speaking negatively over your life can shape the way you see your circumstances. Instead of focusing on everything that is going wrong, choose to speak faith over what God is doing and what you are believing for.
This doesn’t mean you have to pretend that life is perfect or ignore your struggles. It means choosing not to let fear, doubt, and negativity have the final word. When you’re tempted to say “ It will never work out!” remind yourself that “ God is still working”. When you feel like giving up, speak hope. When you can’t yet see the answer, choose to walk by faith and trust that God sees what you cannot.
So if your words aren’t building your faith, encouraging your heart, or aligning with what you’re believing God for, maybe it’s time to invest in some duct tape and let God work while you guard your words.
Next sow a seed, think about the seed more than your need. Galatians 6:9 says “ A man’s harvest in life it depends on entirely what seeds he sews.” If you are believing God for something, little, or big, put your faith in action to show God you’re serious about it, and then he gets serious about it, he will work it out perfectly.
Stay glued to your vision and God will bring the provision. If it’s taking longer than you thought, it’s bigger than you think. When you feel like giving up the most, that’s the sign your breakthrough is almost there.
Proverbs 29:18 says “ Where there is no vision the people perish.” If you don’t have a vision for your life then you will stay stagnant year after year, and one day when you get called home God will hold you accountable for what you did on earth, and he will show you what you missed out on, and all you could have been and done.
So if there’s a dream God has placed on your heart, keep dreaming.
Even when circumstances don’t look like you imagined.
Even when the timeline feels longer than you expected.
Even when you can’t see how everything is going to come together.
Keep Believing
You don’t have to have every detail figured out. You don’t have to know exactly how God is going to do it. Your responsibility is simply to trust Him, keep moving forward, and continue renewing your mind with His word.
Don’t give up on the dream simply because it hasn’t happened yet.
Keep praying.
Keep believing.
Keep speaking life.
Keep taking the next step.
Keep trusting Gods timing.
And above all, keep dreaming. 🦋
Your story isn’t over. Your waiting isn’t wasted. Your dream isn’t too big for God.
There is still so much ahead. 🤍
