Prayer, there is a whole bunch of misconceptions when it comes to this spiritual practice, one of the main ones is, you think you have to pray this big fancy prayer, because he is a I will smite thee type God, and that is the only way he will answer you. Here is the real truth about prayer, it’s a real honest conversation with the creator of the universe, that heavily desires a relationship with you. The only way you cultivate a relationship with someone is talking with them, spending time with them, getting to know them, it is the same way with God. When you pray, you get a supernatural peace that surpasses understanding , sometimes he answers with a yes, sometimes with a no, or it is not time yet and to wait. The waiting period is the hardest part for all of us, but he is refining us and testing our faith in that period, and ultimately everything works out for our good in the long run. When you go to God in prayer, you can receive Godly wisdom and direct revelation from Heaven, and a burden that you have been carrying for so long will be given to God, since he is more than able to carry whatever we are facing.
