“ Hosanna, Hosanna in the highest! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”

These were the cries of the crowd as Jesus entered Jerusalem, riding humbly on the back of a donkey. His disciples followed closely behind, while people laid down their coats in the road, honoring him as He passed.

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week – the sacred journey leading to Jesus’s crucifixion and resurrection. It is a moment where joy and suffering meet in the most powerful and unexpected way.

On that day, the atmosphere was filled with celebration. The people believed the long – awaited moment had arrived- that Jesus would rise as a political king and overthrow the Roman Empire. Hope was loud, visible and full of excitement.

But Jesus had something far greater in mind.

He was not coming to establish an earthly kingdom, but a heavenly one. He was not preparing for a political victory, but for the ultimate sacrifice – the rescue of all humanity.

What looked like triumph would soon turn into suffering. What felt like victory would lead to the cross. And yet through it all, Gods perfect plan was unfolding.

Palm Sunday reminds us that Gods ways are often not what we expect – but they are always greater than we imagine.

Has anyone ever felt like you are in a battle for your mind and life is spinning out of control? To be brutally honest I think everyone has felt like that at one point and time. That is why I am so glad we have Jesus, who is the Prince of Peace. You can call on his name and he will no matter what walk into the room or your situation, and right every wrong and bring peace into it. Matthew 8:23-27 says ” Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept up over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him saying ” Master Master were going to drown”. He woke up and said ” Oh you of little faith why are you so afraid?. Then he got up and rebuked the wind and the waves and suddenly there was a great calm. The disciples were amazed, ” Who is this man that even the winds and the waves obey him?’. Wow what a great passage of scripture that we can always come back to when our life feels like it’s out of control like that storm, and nothing is going right or you feel far from God. You just have to call on his name and he will come with his outstretched mighty hand saying ” Peace be still ” and right away you will feel more peace then you can ever imagine and have a sound mind as well even though the circumstances haven’t changed yet but they will, maybe in one moment or his perfect timing. He is always fighting for us, protecting us, and advocating for us, he feels exactly what we feel because he was human too. He wants us to be prosperous in life and to not lack, and when we mourn he mourns with us because he is a personal God. Some days when my life feels too heavy, my heart just cries out to Jesus, and he in a moment is right there soothing every worry and fear, and giving me a peace that transcends all understanding and helping me to understand I don’t need to figure out everything right away, just one step at a time and one day at a time. He is an all powerful and loving God, who is our protector and our defender, and our souls are worth more to him than anything else. There is resurrection life in all he does.

Dear Jesus,

Thank you so much for giving me the inspiration to write this and I pray that you would touch every one who reads my words and bring healing, and restoration to whatever their situation is.

Imagine you are Mary, a young girl just minding your own business in Jerusalem going through the motions , and a strong faith in God. When all of a sudden an angel appears in front of you, greeting you and saying “ Do not fear Mary, you have found favor with God, you will become pregnant and give birth to a son and name him Jesus, he will be a great man and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David. Your son will be king of Jacobs people forever and his kingdom will never end. You question how can this be since I have been with no man?, The angel answers “ The Holy Spirit will come on you and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be unable to conceive is in her sixth month. For no word from God will never fail” The Angel says, “ I am the Lords servant, may it be done to me according to your word “ you say and the Angel leaves you. You are left to process this incredible news that also terrifies you, and you get ready to leave to visit Elizabeth in Judea to see if it’s really true. You soon find out it is very true and you have a conversation with your cousin about what it all means. You take a deep breath and begin to praise the Lord

“ My Soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my savior, for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant, from now on all generations will call me blessed, for the Mighty one has done great things for me- holy is his name. His mercy extends to those who fear him, from generation to generation. He has performed mighty deeds with his arm, he has scattered those who are proud in their inn most thoughts, he has brought down rules from their thrones but has lifted up the humble. He has filled the hungry with good things but has sent the rich away empty. He has helped his servant Israel, remembering to be merciful to Abraham and his descendants forever, just as he promised his ancestors”. You then stay with her for three months pondering everything and soaking it all in before returning home to Nazareth, all the while feeling the child grow within you more and more each day and its beginning to be a little harder to keep it a secret from everyone.

Then a decree comes from Caesar Augustus that a census should be taken of all of the Roman World, and everyone should go to their own town to register. Joseph’s hometown was Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David, You were getting close to the time the baby was to be born but you were not going to let him travel alone, so the two of you start on the Journey to Bethlehem, on a donkey, Joseph leading. It was very uncomfortable traveling all that way on a donkey, the baby constantly moving around inside of you. We arrive in the town of Bethlehem and the time comes for him to be born but there was no room for us at the inn, so Joseph found a barn and there in that cozy little stable, I gave birth to my first born son wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in the manger. His first cry was music to my ears, the world didn’t know the truth was as pure as a child, and mercy was meek and so mild.

That baby became the savior of the world, from a humble beginning to a crown of endless glory.

If you are believing God for something , Do not Quit! Do not lay down your faith, keep on going, keep on believing in God!!! The plan of the Devil is to drain us, to beat us, to weaken our faith, and he does that through continual pressure, discouragement and lies

1. The Bulldog has been designed by God to be able to breathe as it locks its jaws on what it knows Is his.
2. The Bull Dog’s bite force is 305 pounds per square inch.
3. Embrace the personality of a BullDog when it comes to what God has told you about who you are and what he’s done, what he promises and what he can do through you.
4. The Bull Dog is super stubborn, steadfast and never backs down from anything.

When you are facing a circumstance that in the natural seems impossible, you bite down on the word, you keep breathing and you keep standing on the word, until you see what you are believing for from God come to pass. It is a failure opportunity or a victory opportunity, you get to choose. It is an aggressive faith that sees the victory come to pass. You can’t afford to be passive about anything where the curse is concerned. You can’t afford to be passive about the Word, you can’t afford to be passive about any attack on your life, now it is time to take up arms and fight the good fight of faith- and fight it aggressively!!!

Bulldog faith is a faith that is fully persuaded that what you are believing for will happen, and it WILL come to pass. Do not be moved by natural circumstances, fully immerse yourself in God’s word because he has the final say.

I just feel the Holy Spirit is leading me to tell anyone who needs to hear this, Don’t Quit!!! If you’re believing for a breakthrough and it feels like the enemy is throwing everything he can at you, that just means your breakthrough is closer than you think. Just one touch of God’s favor can catapult you straight into a breakthrough for your finances, healing, meeting one right person, whatever you need from him. If you overflow with Hope, like with Abraham, promises that looked impossible are about to come to pass. He is the God of El Roi which translates to “ You are the God who sees me”. He sees us in our individual situations and is ready and willing to step in, we just need to do our part and intercede, fast, pray and declare that it is already done. That shows him how big our faith is in him. He is the God of the Impossible and he will do what he promised, just take him at his word.

Heavenly Father,

I just come to you right now and ask that whoever reads this, their faith is strengthened in you Lord. Show them you are close and always with them and ready to speak to them, they just need to be still and listen. I ask that you would radically transform anyone who reads this to be more on fire for you then they ever have.

BY HIS STRIPES I AM HEALED!!!

Wow what a powerful declaration!

Romans 1:16 says this “ For I am not ashamed of this good news about Christ, it is the power of God at work, saving every one who believes.”Healing the sick is a huge part of Jesus’s ministry and the Gospel. If we aren’t fully convinced the power of God is real, then we will struggle to understand or even receive healing in ourselves, never mind see that healing power flow through us on behalf of someone else. If you are a born again believer, healing lives in your spirit man. Healing isn’t a new idea, it’s always Gods will for you to be healed. He doesn’t put any sickness, or disease on us to teach us a lesson, that’s not his will for us, so banish that thought from your mind now. The healing power of God is just as present today, just as available today to you, as salvation is, they are inseparable. I’ve seen too many healings to not believe in his power. Throughout scripture people are desperately searching for him to heal them, and he does, and now that healing power lives in every one who believes in him,we just need to unlock it. We can’t heal ourselves by our own power. It was by God’s power and strength that we will be restored to health In Jesus’s mighty name. Just the mention of his name can send sickness, darkness, disease, and the devil running. Amen!

Heavenly Father,

I pray for anyone that reads my words that you will send out your healing power on them and every one they encounter. Let them feel your presence strongly in their lives this week and let them be radically changed by you.

Our Identity in Christ is something that I’ve wrestled with for so long, especially when I was younger. There’s constantly negative thoughts going to war with positive thoughts in my head of knowing whose I am, and it’s hard to silence the noise and center my mind on the truth and break off any of the lies the enemy has tried to name me. BUT GOD! Here’s the truth that I’ve come to believe with my whole heart. Your identity in Christ is rich, deep, unique and solidly rooted in God not your own behavior or works. You are chosen, handpicked by the God who created the universe for a special work on this earth. Jesus is asking us a question: Are you willing to pay the price for the change I want to bring to your life? You are not too broken or useless to be used by God, once you fully step into what you believe, that you are a child of God, chosen and anointed, theres no limits to where God can take you in your life.

To get rid of the negative thoughts in your head say these confessions and pretty soon you’ll change your entire mindset and believe who God says you are.

1. I am blessed and highly favored ( Ephesians 1:3)

2. I am a child of God and he loves me ( 1 John 1:3)

3. God brings an end to my darkness ( Hebrews 10:3)

4. I am somebody ( John 15:16)

5. I am going somewhere ( Psalm 37: 23-24)

6. I am going to do something big with my life for Jesus Christ. ( Proverbs 3:5-6)

If God didn’t say it DON’T CLAIM IT because that’s not who you are! 🤍

I don’t know about you but some days, or weeks it feels like the storms of life will not calm, or slow down. It feels like everything is racing at you a hundred miles an hour and you can’t stop it or slow it down. But there is a person who is there with you in the midst of it telling you to keep your eyes on him, and not the storm, and his name is Jesus. He gives you peace that surpasses all understanding in the midst of your storms and hardships. John 14:27 says “ Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you not as the world gives. Let not your heart be troubled or be afraid “.Now, that’s easier said than done for most of us, but let me tell you His peace is the most beautiful thing to have. He can speak into your situation and bring a peace that only He can bring. The most powerful thing you can say is “ Jesus help me “ and He will be right there fighting for you, bringing you His supernatural peace because He loves you and cares for you and He does not want to see you drowning in life’s craziness. He wants to see you thriving in life with peace, love and a sound mind and fully trusting in Him.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,

I come to you right now and ask that you would give me your supernatural peace throughout my day today and protect me from anything that comes my way. I want to feel your guiding hand through my day and I believe you’re right next to me in everything I do.

Let me take you back to June 23rd 2009, when I was about to embark on a very dangerous and hard spinal surgery, the Children’s pastor at my church that I still attend today called Hope Fellowship, came to Children’s Hospital and came into my room along with Helen Hartzo, who was the Early Childhood Coordinator at the time. They asked me if I wanted to know Jesus and have a personal relationship with him, and I said yes because I knew deep down somehow in my innermost being that that name was powerful. So they prayed with me and I prayed the Salvation Prayer and invited Jesus into my heart on that fateful day, I was gifted a Kids bible that I still treasure to this day! It turned out to be the longest and most complicated surgery I have ever had, it was only supposed to be 5-6 hours and it ended up being 10 hours. I had to stay really still flat on my back for over thirty six hours at first, looking back on that situation I can clearly see God’s protective hand and healing hand over my situation and helping to keep my parents calm cool, and collected even though it probably was the longest day ever for them too. I was only ten years old so having that major of a surgery that young really freaked me out but I knew that God was in control and in my story that is in the process of being written. After several hours the surgeon talked to my parents and gave my parents a bad report, so my mom called up the prayer chain and asked them to pray. By the time they talked to the surgeon a couple hours later the report had greatly improved- Praise God! ( 12 years later I am completely healed! All the Glory to God on that!)

Fast forward six years later, I was apart of a Christian Home-school group named Peach for about five years, and I didn’t feel like I had a really deep relationship with God even though I had been a Christian for six years now, nothing really had been cultivated and flourishing since then. Then in 2018 after I graduated High School, I walked back in the doors of Hope Fellowship the Frisco West Campus on a Sunday Morning ,as I sat down and heard What A Beautiful name being played and sung, I instantly felt goosebumps and what felt like a warm hug enveloping me and God’s voice whispering ” Welcome Home my daughter ” and I instantly broke down in tears realizing that I was back home in his presence and I never wanted to leave it again. I instantly was renewed with a fire for God that has never gone out and I never want it too. Ever since that day, I intentionally deepen my relationship with God, and leave my heart open for whatever he wants to do in my life AND through my life.

Don’t get me wrong, I have had my struggles in life and I continue to face those everyday. One I have this rare eye condition called Ocular Motor Apraxia which is basically a nuerological disorder that causes problems with voluntary horizontal eye movement, which also means I have trouble moving my eyes in a desired location. It is super rare , but as I have gotten older it has gotten better. I also have one leg that is about two inches shorter than the other but it has not stopped me from doing regular things. Those are just some of the struggles I have, but I also know and believe that God is bigger than my shortcomings and I am not defined by them either. I am a daughter of the Most High God and his Beloved, he made me in his image. I am uniquely made and placed on this Earth for a specific reason and it took me awhile to really and truly see that when I was younger, but now I fully know and believe that to be true with every part of my being. God created each one of us unique and made us in his image none of us are the same and I celebrate that, we were made to glorify and praise him with our lives. I am his beloved, I am chosen, I am royalty, I am a daughter of the king, I am seen, and I am forgiven. For too long I have believed the lies of the enemy saying that I am too far gone, and am unworthy of his love and forgiveness, NO MORE! I am resting in those truths forever and I am banishing the lies from the enemy forever. It’s because of the grace of Jesus that I can stand boldly in God’s presence and I am so grateful for that. Live no more lies today, rest in the freedom God has given you! I was listening to Spotify recently and a song popped up called God is in this Story by Katy Nicole and Big Daddy Weave and a couple of the lyrics are ” God is in this story, God is in the details even in the broken parts he holds my heart he never fails when I’m at my weakest I will trust in Jesus” and if that isn’t my life I don’t know what is. He truly and intimately cares about each of our lives and will not leave us on our own and left to our own devices so to speak. He is the best friend you will ever have and will never leave you or forsake you, as I look back on my life so far, I can clearly see God at work and I am in awe at what he has done and will continue to do in my life. You just have to be ready,open, and willing to be used by him, sometimes it’s uncomfortable and scary but that’s how you grow and trust him more. So I just have one question for you….. Who is God to you?
